Our training, grounded in Hope Theory, equips leaders and instructional coaches to empower and liberate their peers to better address the various needs of students. We believe that by balancing personal and professional needs, educators can build a joyful, thriving learning environment which addresses the holistic needs of the learners they are called to serve.
Team Coaching
Collaboration is key to achieving sustainable results. Our team coaching services are designed to enhance the abilities of school based teams and their leaders. Aligned with the International Coaching Federation’s Team Coaching Competencies, we “partner in a co-creative and reflective process with a team and its dynamics and relationships in a way that inspires them to maximize their abilities and potential in order to reach their common purpose and shared goals."

As a retired public school educator and administrator with 33 years of experience, I specialize in empowering school leaders to embrace their calling with confidence. Together, we navigate the challenges that often leave them feeling overlooked and underappreciated, enabling them to inspire the next generation.

Certified by Coach Training EDU as an Academic Life Coach and holding an ACC credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF), my dedication to education is a lifelong commitment.

My coaching fosters joy, hope, and liberation. Beyond the professional realm, I find immense delight in learning, oyster farming, hiking, and enjoying leisurely meals with loved ones. Life's journey is full of twists and turns, and I'm here to effect positive change in your life and the lives of others!

At EmpowerEd Coaching, giving back is woven into the fabric of our values. A percentage of our earnings is dedicated to supporting causes close to our hearts. We proudly contribute to the DeFeet Cancer - The Dalton Fox Foundation, striving to eradicate childhood bone cancer in honor of a beloved former student. Additionally, our commitment extends to Lynnhaven River NOW, an organization devoted to safeguarding the waterways of Virginia Beach. Through these contributions, we aim to make a meaningful impact, not only in the lives of educators but also in creating positive change in our broader community.
